Crane Operator

Key Responsibilities

Operate mobile cranes safely for loading, unloading and material handling activities.
Perform lifting operations in warehouse, laydown and material receiving areas.
Carry out daily pre-use inspections of the crane and complete required checklists.
Verify crane capacity, configuration and operating conditions before lifting.
Follow approved lifting plans, load charts and instructions from the lifting team.
Coordinate closely with Riggers/Slingers and Lifting Supervisors.
Ensure safe positioning and setup of the crane, including outriggers and ground conditions.
Stop operations immediately when unsafe conditions are identified.
Report equipment defects, damages or maintenance requirements.
Comply with Project lifting procedures, HSE requirements and site traffic rules.

Requirements

Valid Crane Operator certification/license for the applicable crane category and capacity.
Proven experience operating mobile cranes on construction, Oil & Gas, LNG or industrial projects.
Good knowledge of crane load charts and safe lifting practices.
Experience with material receiving and warehouse/laydown operations preferred.
Ability to work day and night shifts.
